Meet Johnny Toy: Director of Photography

We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnny Toy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Johnny, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought that lead to me starting my business was that I love taking images. I say images because I enjoy still photos and moving photos. Then it was a light bulb! Why not service people for collecting their images from moments to be remember. In this you will probably read ” I love taking images ” because I really love holding a camera, dialing in the exposure, framing a shot, and taking a shot! Simply put. So I went into going business.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The uniqueness of my business is capturing the essence of a story adding small details to add value to the over all vision. that could be capturing audio to add to a video project or posing someone in a photo to add a mood is the range of my uniqueness. How did I get here today professionally. I took the craft seriously, not just shooting but marketing, risky investments, and expenses are just things I thought about on the journey of becoming a professional. Was it easy? No really. Its a-lot sleepless nights or missing an event and or learning to be to yourself which is a good thing. Giving this brand me is how I overcome some of these challenges. Nothing worth having comes easy. The passion is what I want people to know about me. You got to have passion, which translate to love and the you act. Like I said earlier is I really love what I do from planning, shooting, and editing.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Bet! TO GOD BE THE GLORY ! ! ! it is truly a blessing to be apart of this time of living doing something that will be remember in time. Next ! I’m going to keep it short. If it wasn’t for then my girlfriend, now WIFE Melissa A. Scott – Toy that encourage me to buy my very first camera in 2013 I wouldn’t be in the success of my business thus further! Thank you for your friendship, your love, your consistent support! Got to thank MOMMA ( Take Off Voice )! ! ! Without her sacrifices I wouldn’t be in this position of life to be giving her thanks in article that about her son. Heddrex Toy’s Only Son ! ! ! I have learned so much from my uncles, aunts, and cousins that have influence. Jake, Charles E, Hendricks, Uncle J, Uncle Flex, Chauren, Edward, Val, Aunt Dorris, Aunt Sharon, Jakeqette How much space can I take I got some people. I got plenty of teachers I would like to thank that gave me some sense of direction for my life. GWHS, Mississippi Valley State University 2007-2011. And to the city help raise me and definably has paid me Greenville,MS 662 and The Great State of Mississippi.
