We had the good fortune of connecting with KC Logan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi KC, how do you think about risk?
When I think about risk, I get excited! I feel that risk are what’s needed in life to challenge you to become greater. For the past 2 years, my life has been all about risk taking. From me quitting my jobs in Alabama and moving to Houston with no job, to me landing a full time teaching position(7 months later) and then quitting that to become a full time entrepreneur. Lol crazy right!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I feel what sets my business apart from most credit repair companies is that we try to build a personal connection with each client. In the beginning of my process, I always take time to speak with my clients, instead of them being sent to a random sales office.

Although I’ve had a great mentor/coach throughout this journey, it definitely hasn’t been easy. With me having a background in mental health therapy, I’ve always been one to help others and I knew with being a credit consultant, I’d be able to help people gain a second chance at getting there financial life under control. When I was first presented with the opportunity to become a specialist, I knew as much as the person maybe reading this article, but the the fact that I was able to give people a second chance stuck with me. That’s when I begin educating myself on credit and financial literacy as a whole. One of my favorite quotes by Les Brown says,”sometimes you have to believe in someone else’s belief in you, until yours kick in.” Once I was able to perfect the method that I feel sets me apart from others, I was able to grow my audience into the growing base that it has today! Currently we service clients coast to coast throughout the US as well as several US soldiers deployed overseas. I’m very grateful for where my business has come in such a short time and I’m very excited to see what’s to come.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well for starters, we’d definitely hit the gym because I love to workout. Next, we’d hit up Chef Joe Rush with Bigga Jream Catering and get one of his daily specials or we’d go to Slutty Vegan.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I honestly feel like my family(Lucy, TC, and Harvey) have been my biggest influences in my life as to why I’ve turned into the growing entrepreneur that I am today. My mother(Lucy) was the one who preached about keeping the faith in everything you do, while my dad(TC) was the one who implemented the hustler mentality early, by me seeing him always make a way out of no way. Although my dad is the one who implemented the hustler mentality, my brother(Harvey) is the one who amplified it and help me take it to the next level.
