We had the good fortune of connecting with Tasha Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tasha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I first decided to launch my online women’s clothing boutique, my initial thought was that I wanted to create something for women who loved fashion and being stylish but also wanting to be true and unique to themselves and not be caught up in this perceived “social media perfect look”. As a career woman first, who works in tech, I am a wife and mother, so I understand firsthand with juggling it all and trying to stay cute and keep up with the latest trends. Unfortunately, the reality is, it’s hard to find this and I wanted to provide options that are cute, affordable and trendy that accommodate all sizes and make women feel cute, sexy and empowered! My motto is “Do you sis, be different and people will stare so make it worth their while”.
What should our readers know about your business?
Nicole & Grace Boutique is an online women’s clothing boutique that specializes in chic and trendy clothing for women. We also offer mommy + me styles for the mom and her little diva. We are very new to this online e-commerce space but what sets us apart from others is our customer service, and product offerings. Customer service is everything to us, and we promise that we will always provide top notch service and treat everyone like we want to be treated.
I want customers (existing and potential) to know that when they shop with Nicole & Grace Boutique, they are getting items that we have been handpicked and are of great quality and are meant to bring out the fierceness and BOMB in them!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are many places in Atlanta I’d say Midtown or Little Five Points area. Little Five Points is more hippie but has great restaurants and one-of-a-kind stores. Midtown is great for outdoor shopping, museums and other must visit sights for visitors that have never been to the city!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are a ton of people I’d like to shoutout but first and foremost, I’d like to thank God as every setback has been a comeback and I know I am his favorite as he shows me daily with the many blessings I have and continue to receive! Next, my amazing husband, Alec Davis. This man has been there by my side through it all and has never discouraged me from pursuing my dreams and crazy ideas.
Finally, my family and friends that are in my corner rooting for my success daily! There’s too many to name but a special shoutout to my sister-in-law, Briar for nominating me to be featured in this segment of Shoutout Atlanta!
