One thing about the industry that outsiders are probably unaware of is how much strategy and creativity goes into it. Many people think it’s just about making videos or taking photos, but it’s actually about deeply understanding the brand’s vision, connecting with their audience, and producing content that feels authentic yet professional. There’s also a lot of behind-the-scenes work—like staying on top of trends, analyzing engagement data, and pitching to brands—all while balancing everything else in life. I believe that the work/life balance is always in flux. Hard work isn’t dirty work to me. We actually say this as a group at the end of workouts at Muscle Thru. I believe in hard work, whether it goes recognized or not. I know that most good things that come about in life and help you thrive are due to hard work. However, you can work yourself to death or overwork. You can work so much and not have anything to show for it at the end of your life. Not only that, but you also run the risk of missing out on important milestones/moments in life. As I have grown older, I really make sure that I learn how to put the phone down and push the laptop away. When you set your boundaries (that may pivot or change depending on the season of life you are in) you end up living a more fulfilling life. Read more>>
