Being a parent means sacrificing a lot of things for your children but I decided to sacrifice my career in order to be a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my child. As a parent, my husband and I have been the most supportive, encouraging role models for our daughter. We have given her opportunities to live a completely different childhood from our own. We get to engage with her on many different levels and we are very involved in her growth and development in all aspects of her life.
