We had the good fortune of connecting with Young Bullard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Young, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
So I been doing music for 7 to 8 years now and it’s been so up and down that many times I’ve contemplated just giving up. But that’s just not something I can let me self do in life is give up on anything. I love music. It’s therapeutic for me. I’ve learn to put my story thru my music over time. I’ve also learned in this game you will take losses and it’s gone hurt. But you gotta stand ten solid with this and never give up. Your opportunities are waiting for the right moment. My brand represents heart break, Aggression, Pain and just a life of a young Native/white kid coming up thru the streets.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First, we gonna hit the mall of course and get fresh to death. Blow a bag on some swag. Then we gonna hit downtown and go to boxcar. Which is like an adult game place to play arcade games drink and eat. While the night warms up. After that we may hit some historical spots to really show what Greensboro came from to where it is now. To eat, my favorite place to eat is always arigatos Japanese food or the chop house. Now as the nights falls into place we would go to my home bar 240, play some pool get them familiar with my fans and people who stand tall for me. So now the fun starts. We hit club mirage which is famous strip club here in Greensboro and most definitely get VIP bottle section. Or we would go to Venos event center to put on a lil show for the people. But most likely it’s gone be the strip clubs for me. If that ain’t enough we got Charlotte & Raleigh Durham in the surrounding areas so there’s endless things to do in night life. That’s how I’d treat my guest.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
So I always first wanna thank My mother for always having my back. No matter the loss or win, she keeps me motivated and pushing they all obstacles I go thru in life and music. Second I wanna thank and shout out Lady L & Rondale Mitchell for putting me positions to become who I am as an artists. Also I wanna thank B-Rich & Playboy Trick for the opportunity’s they have brought my way as well because being the the big names in the game they are and putting their stamp of approval on my music really goes a long way as I’m on the way up. Last of course my city of Greensboro, North Carolina for always pushing my music and selling out my shows.
