We had the good fortune of connecting with Wolf Paradise and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Wolf, how do you think about risk?
I think until you take a risk on yourself you’ll never understand what your capable of. We live life growing up learning and having experiences and at some point i think we all should find something positive that we can bring to the world or people around us . For me personally Art has been the backbone of my life growing up ive always done various art forms to express myself and life travels. At 28 now art is definitely beyond a hobby for me . i told myself at 26 if I honestly believe in myself and trusting all ive learned or skills ive gained I need to put my talents to work and make a living off of it. I was working a part-time job, managing my family company ( which i still do) , doing odd jobs , and still doing art … trying to get my brand off the ground and still producing music but i felt like at this point if i dont put my time into the art and stop putting it on the back burner ill regret not taking that risk ( chance ) on my self . If you cant gamble or take a risk on yourself who can u put that faith in ya know? So i took a financial backseat left my part time job and found balance with my family company as well as my business ventures and now because of that risk i love my life working for myself. Leaving my job was the best thing that happened to my adult life. Im no longer restricted time wise and energy wise . I can give my all into my projects and create solid work vs doing rushed late night work.. half tired from physical labor . Its also opened time for me to network and meet with people at events etc something i never had time for before i took that risk. Im on my second year operating my clothing company and family business as primary income and i love every second.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My brand is Alive Infinite a motivational nostalgic brand. I draw alot of influence from my youth so alot of the colors and styles of art I create come from my experiences as a 90s kid. The brand promotes living life as your higher self ( your ultimate form) . What we all need constant reminder of is that all the answers we already need are locked away in us we just have to experience life , explore to tap into what we’re capable of and the brand promotes this concept of reminder of how great we are as individuals ! the brand also promotes spreading positive energy on a daily basis just doing what u can for the world and others which in turn generates good things for your life as well. The brand has alot of gamer, anime influence as well as 90s JDM car culture. I produce music under the name Wolf Paradise + I make ambient, neosoul, rnb ,trap type beats. My music is a reflection of either dreams , or things im going through in life at the time. Ive been producing for about 10years self taught ..
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I take anyone usually somewhere in nature . So it would be a trail , park or something . I feel like being in nature is a personal yet spacious experience to enjoy with someone you can connect with the person and the earth . Ive never been a outgoing person in the past which still rings true but if i do go anywhere its usually to an event involving gaming or a local concert of my artist friends in the city .
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I just wanna shout out my family and supporters who keep me motivated to keep creating.
