We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyson Fields and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tyson, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Being an artist is a risk cause you put your self and your creation out there for everyone to see and judge
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started singing when I was 7, I started preforming at local venues not long after that. I started to take dance classes when I was 11 fell in love with it. I recently decided to put more of my focus on my music and less on dance. When I’m preforming I like to entertain and put on a show so even when I’m singing I’ll still be able to dance. I have taught myself how to produce my own music and I have always written lyrics since as long as I can remember. I always put 100% of myself into what I do.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite thing to do is work in my studio at home so we would definitely spend a lot of the time working on music in my studio. Next I like flipping and Parkour so we would visit Jones Park, a few local parks and places on the beach that are pretty cool for that. There’s a cool racetrack called Finishline that we would have to visit.
We would go eat at Hartz chicken in Ocean Springs. We’d have to go eat at Dairy Queen. We would get some dessert at The Milkshake Bar. Other then that we would eat from the house. We would definitely grill out a couple times.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My parents do everything for my they sacrifice so much and I just wanna be able to give it all back
