We had the good fortune of connecting with Tony Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tony, what do you attribute your success to?
Staying humble and prayer are the most important factors behind my successful career in the the entertainment industry.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a production manager in the entertainment industry by day but my creative hobby is photography. Majority of my photography comes from shooting events or celebrities. I’ve had some of my stills published. I’ve gained clients that I’ve taking still photos of through my contacts of working in the entertainment industry and referrals. I’m an easy going professional individual that loves to work with people with great positive energy.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well before covid, I would take my friend to Buckhead and the Old Fourth Ward area for food and drinks. I find that there are a lot of options to eat, drink and be entertained in those parts of metro Atlanta. There are so many options for great food and drinks, I love to eat at the shops at Buckhead and Two Urban Licks. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife, Yvonne Davis and Ryan Ford-VP Production at 20th Century Fox Television. Both of these two individuals pushed and encouraged me to take on a management position in film and TV.
