We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany J Wymbs and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany J, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite affirmation is a scripture that I use as a tag reference involving The Birthing Room LLC and it comes from Isaiah 66:9. It says “I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born.” It means that often times in life we struggle, and go through adversities that may me challenging. Our circumstances may ultimately cause hurt and pain, but just like a mother giving birth to a child. The pain, agony, and discomfort that those labor pains may cause is to no avail once she holds her new born baby in her hands. The beauty of the new creation is a reminder that those months of carrying weight, being uncomfortable, and the hours of labor pain was all worth it. I love how this scripture gives us affirmation that even though we may go through some difficult times, that it’s all for a reason. That God is only trying to birth something new out of us.

My mentoring program is called The Birthing Room, where we inspire, uplift, encourage, train and equip young women and girls of all different ages, backgrounds and demographics. It all started when one day I was inspired to create a store house where I would take donations of food, clothes, diapers, toiletries, and feminine hygiene products to donate and give to women and girls who were in need. As I continued to help these women with supplying them with short-term necessities. I would always hear back from them not long after requesting prayer, advice, conversation and the tools they needed to succeed and get out of the “hole” they were in; and from there The Birthing Room continued to grow as I started to reach more young girls and women. Some of my most proudest moments are when people that I’ve helped and mentored come back and tell me how much I’ve changed their lives. I think what sets me apart from other programs is that I’m not afraid to meet you where you are. No matter the situation, even if it they are a current drug addict, prostitute, in and out of jail, etc.. Which is why I was able to make it to where I am today. By loving on the people and being that shoulder they can lean on. It was not always easy. I had to learn how to put my personal perspective of things to the side and realize that yes every woman and girl has a choice, but not all of us have been through the same thing in life which may be the cause of why these women may be on drugs or not in a good area in life. I want the world to know that The Birthing Room LLC is a place of refuge for those females that may be lost. I was once that young girl who didn’t receive the help I needed, and as I matured into a woman I carried those same issues into adulthood which caused me to be apart of the cycle which lead to poverty. What The Birthing Room offers is a way out of poverty and out of the system. Breaking every generational curse and attack that will stop the cycle of our women and young girls not being able to be and birth out every thing that they’ve been called and destined to be.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First of all my success would not be possible without God. I thank Him daily for trusting me and equipping me for such a time as this. Also I would love to dedicate this shoutout to my wonderful husband Rev. Alexander Wymbs who has always been supportive and patient of my vision to start and grow this mentoring program. I would also like to dedicate this shoutout to my daughter Madison Jackson who pushes me to better each and everyday. Oh yeah and I can’t forget my Uncle and Aunt, my Godmother, my church family, and my Pastor for covering and praying for me.
