Meet Erica Moore: Holistic Nutritionist & Interior Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Erica Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Erica, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
Heath is definitely wealth! It’s more than a #hashtag and after the last year and half, we must all realize that this phase has greater meaning… I started this business with the desire to help others find solutions to their health issues. One huge lesson that my business has taught me is that people will pay for value. People pay for substance. They have to recognize that there is value in improving their health, by way of their nutrition.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The DNA Goes Green™️ is evolving operationally. I have taken steps to really deep dive to uncover the core values. Our mission is to connect minority communities to healthier (food) options. We started with 100% plant based meal kit subscriptions and developed a virtual program to help clients find solutions to their nutritional needs. The challenges have been the ‘ trial & errors’; having to switch vendors, having to bootstrap the business, and at times wanting to give up and walk away… Despite all these circumstances, we are excited & pressed to keep going!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My faith is first- God is in charge. Secondly, my daughter has been my inspiration since day 1! She is the reason why I persist. I can remember when I first started my business, she was 8 years old. I knew that eventually it would evolve into a legacy for her in her latter years.
She has been my cheerleader! Ari would help pass out business cards and go with me to speak at demonstrations. She would video record or help set up the food. Ari is excited about the start of her own business. She is proud of the fact that her mom & dad are both entrepreneurs.
