We had the good fortune of connecting with Tia Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tia, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
Never give up. It’s not an option. Honestly I gave up once and it didn’t feel right. So how do you know whether to keep going or give up? Ask yourself what is your why? Why are you doing this? Does it make you happy? If you make a difference in just one persons life then you know not to give up. What I am doing now makes me happy, my business entertains others and makes them happy so I know I’m doing exactly what I should be doing. When I got my first NO I was highly disappointed, but I turned my “NO” into “Next Opportunity”. I haven’t looked back since.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel like my personality, style and dedication sets me apart from others. I am most proud of and excited about my growth. I started my business from the ground up and I have reached several milestones that I thought I would never reach at such a early stage in my career. To get where I am today I honestly had to break out of my shell. It required a lot of sacrifice, hard work, and dedication. Nothing worth having will come easy. My greatest struggle has been getting everyone on board with my vision. I have had a struggle with getting opportunities that I wanted due to not being a super large platform. I have overcome these challenges by continuing to push through. I pride myself on being fair and honest. As a blogger many outlets worry about being “first”, I worry about being RIGHT. My motto is “Team No Fake News”. Showing the world that I have integrity helped me shine through. Many opportunities started coming my way. As I have navigated through this industry I have learned that consistency is key. Even when you think no one is watching, just know they always are. I want the world to know that my brand is 100 % authentic. I know that in the days and years to come my brand will be a household name. My brand takes great pride in providing an enjoyable honest experience for our followers. We want our followers to get everything they need from our brand. We cover world news, breaking news, trending news, celebrity tea, sports, film/entertainment, fashion and much more.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
While in Atlanta I really enjoy Wet Willie’s, Milk N Honey restaurant, Ripleys Believe it Or Not, the aquarium, the Coca Cola factory, the trap museum, and of course 6 flags. While in my hometown of Durham, North Carolina I enjoy going to the Living Room for a great night out for hookah and good music, boxcar for a good adult arcade, and Lets Eat Soulfood has some of the best soulfood in NC. Anything that will lead us to a good time we will do it.
