Meet Thea Arnold

We had the good fortune of connecting with Thea Arnold and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Thea, can you tell us about an impactful book you’ve read and why you liked it or what impact it had on you?
I read my own book, ‘Living around dangerous human predators and how to survive them’. I taught myself how to survive predators that come from all walks of life. I like it because I wrote it myself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It was not easy getting to where I am today. Unlike some people, don’t have a college degree. Everything I learned about the music, book, and film industry and social media was self taught. I watched tutorials, I read books, and blogs and I just took the information and ran with it. When I was a kid, I took music lessons and won alot of awards that I still have to this day. I’m still doing music now, just without the lessons you know? I learn best by teaching myself. I absorb the entertainment industry like a sponge.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I don’t have a best friend but if I did (preferably a man), I would probably take them to an open mic night so they could watch me perform. I’d probably take them to a studio to shoot a music video. I’d take them to Total Wine & More. It’s my favorite wine store. Even if they don’t drink they still have non alcoholic wine as well. After total wine I’d probably take them to a hotel in Sandy Springs, where I used to hang out back in the days. I would probably take them to Lenox Mall just to walk around and do some shopping! Lenox Mall is the best mall in Atlanta.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shout-out to the people who agreed to be in my projects. All of the actors, directors, and editors. I would also like to give a shout-out to my kids. They graduated from high school which is a very good thing. Being a single mother was hard but here I am today.
