We had the good fortune of connecting with The Boom Bap Hour and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The Boom Bap Hour, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Consistency. From our experience, consistency has been the most important factor to ensuring success of any brand. Consistency creates accountability. Authenticity, passion, integrity and confidence plays a major factor in our brand success. Respect, followed by trust, builds a strong foundation and we live by this everyday. Being self-disciplined and honest opens a world of opportunities for you. The more valuable you become to your business the more valuable the business will become to you. Developing the right mythology, skills, inspiring vision, and a worthy mission to focus on is not just important it’s vital for survival for our brand. The right people doing the right things at the right time in the right way for the right reasons. Equals a SUCCESSFUL TEAM!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our podcast has a formula that works great for us…and it’s called authenticity. We’re bringing you the comeback of the Boom Bap sound, and giving you the hottest independent artists to watch. We give you the hottest entertainment commentary that can only be told from our no-holds-barred perspective.

We have overcome many challenges, but with a combination of patience and perseverance, we kept rising like a rose through the concrete. We have always stayed true to the mission of Hip-Hop. We are most proud of becoming a nationally syndicated show and reaching a growing audience across the globe. We have been blessed to interview Hip Hop heavyhitters such as Special Ed, Yo Yo, Cassidy, Billy Danze and many more. We have also interviewed legendary cultural icons such as Tommy Davidson. We are telling the stories of those that have paved the way…this is how we pay homage…by telling the stories of our culture.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There’s some pretty great places to visit here. We can start with Humanitree House a dope artistic vibe where there’s all walks life with great vegan food and drinks. If you can’t make it there then swing over to the Smoothie Bar! Great atmosphere and wonderful smoothies. Now if you not the vegan type there’s a couple of places we have in mind; Philly CheeseSteak Factory, Jamaica Way, and The Indian Queen! For a beautiful night walk we also got the River Walk. Augusta is dope! Home of James Brown. We love it here!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Hip-Hop is a term that describes our independent collective consciousness. Ever growing, So shoutout to the 9 elements of hip-hop! Without them we differently wouldn’t be able to do what we do!
