We had the good fortune of connecting with Tee Recx and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tee, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I have a passion for self-expression, a desire to make a positive impact on the world, a love for the creative process, and a need for personal fulfillment by pursuing God. Additionally, some people may feel drawn to the freedom and flexibility that comes with pursuing a career in the arts, as well as the opportunity to connect with others and inspire change through their work. Ultimately, the reasons for pursuing an artistic or creative career are unique to each individual and can be influenced by a variety of factors, including personal experiences, values, and interests.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The journey began in November 2011 after doing some radio hosting work for a company in New Jersey. The vision came upon for me to start my own podcast show titled “The Live By Terrence Show”. I wanted to give people a platform to showcase their passion and talent without own having to spend a lot of money for the world to see. From the start, I was looking at this opportunity from a local level to give my peers a voice that they may not had in the past due to various reasons. After completing the 4th month of broadcasting shows in April 2012, I received an email from the CEO of The Hype Magazine, Jameelah Wilkerson, about doing some interviews for them in a cross-promotional way. This was a great opportunity not only to help people in my area (Valley, Alabama) but it also opens the door for the mainstream entertainment businesses and talents to network together via the podcast show.

This network has allowed me to make appearances on TMZ Live, red carpet events, receive several award nominations for our shows, contribute to The Hype Magazine as a writer, and to be a public figure in the underground mainstream media. Opportunities have been a blessing for me as a DJ who was ranked in the Top 3 in the United States and Top 5 worldwide on ReverbNation in 2014. I have retired as of right now as a club DJ but I am always open to continue that journey as well. The Live By Terrence Network crosses all generations, platforms, and media as an inspirational brand to help add value to our broadcasting experiences.

2 Factor Media formerly known as The Live By Terrence Network is a nonprofit media organization focused on Love God, Love People in everything we promote, broadcast, share, etc. This concept allow us to operate as independent media organization for the people in terms of good news, inspirational, spiritual content, community outreach, and laughter. No judgment zone because we all are in this world together. Meeting so many people inspired me to serve my purpose in my faith with 2 Factor Media in providing a platform for the client or talent to have interviews, audio/video content, blogs or articles, etc. to share through our social networks to highlight and give them an opportunity to be heard or seen on an independent & mainstream level.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
