We had the good fortune of connecting with Sean Rush Jr and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sean, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is relationship building. My father taught me early in my career the importance of building relationships with, at the time, coworkers, employers, family, friends, and honestly everyone as you’ll never know whose support you will need in the future. With relationship building ingrained in my head while I worked the the different facets of my businesses, I as able to build trust, establish and maintain genuine relationships where when it was time to start a new venture, new service or product, I have a database of repeat clients and customers who are eager to help support, refer and recommend my services. Building my referral based business has opened doors that I would’ve never dreamed of and priceless opportunities. A successful business built off relationships, past clients, and referrals to their family and friends, is the most fun, profitable and only one I’d like to enjoy forever.

The road to where we are currently was not a straight uphill nor was it easy, however it has been worth every minute of it. Which each change in our business, especially in growth, comes a new obstacle to overcome. My former Hall of Fame Football Coach, Joe Taylor, taught me back in 2008, “In order to Get To, you must go through” and I have held onto that motto, so we do not run from new challenges but grasp them, we pray first, take advise from our support system and mentors then make our business decision. One of the best lessons I have learned in business so far is to know when to leverage and expand, as well as when to say no, to new business, to new relationships, and to maintain focus through the good and the bad. One of my favorite quotes is “What you focus on expands”. The name Link’d Realty Advisors came from the need of being connected in this industry; We thrive on building and sustaining our network and relationships with vendors, builders, contractors and our clients alike to provide a true one stop shop. Innovative: As the market changes due to generational and technological shifts, it is important to stay ahead of the game so that we can inform our investors, consumers, and professionals to consider how these changes can benefit the industry. These advances are what opens up new opportunities utilizing data, access, and expertise much more efficiently.

My Support System. I would not be able to run the businesses that I run, manage life, and still have a family without all of my support system.
