Hi Sarita, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success would be passion truly loving what I do by baking with a heart and hands that care…

The most important factor behind the success of my brand would be putting smiles on client’s faces through their stomachs.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Cakes by Cinnamon Smilez was created under the umbrella of Visionz by Cinnamon Smilez LLC which was established in December of 2019. I initially started a business to help other small business owners be recognized. I have always had a spirit of helping others and networking. I created it to help generate income into my own household. Instead of giving my resources out for free. I started making it work for me. When covid broke out it was a huge need for small business advertisement. As 2020 broke out in a pandemic. I got laid off from my job in January 2020 and I had to push to find a way to survive. One thing for sure it wasn’t east and I had to stay persistent. I faced alot of challenges but I kept going adding to the things under my LLC. I started vending events, baking, creating custom gift baskets, customized cigar pokes etc. I want the world to know that Visionz was created for every individual that has a dream to do something or create something. Just do it!! God gives us VISION and sometimes we are scared to follow our dreams because of fear. Under fear is not real..
I’m hear to tell you that, I am a living testimony. I’ve been laid off. In the hospital for a week with covid.
I’ve been through 2 hip replacements and God bought me thru with a” Vision” don’t sleep on it. Be true to yourself and live out your dreams. I never knew in a million years that I would get so much peace through baking but I do. When you find your passion it’s something that you would do for FREE because it comes so naturally to you. I haven’t been to school but God has blessed me with a gift I didn’t even know I had..
So with all that being said I am THANKFUL everyday for my VISION. I am THANKFUL that God gave me a gift to be great in all we do. When God sees you trying he will definitely do the rest. I’m not saying I’m making millions of dollars but what I do know that God has more in store for me. My future is bright and the best has yet to come..

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well if my best friend came to town we would definitely eat breakfast, seafood and Mexican food. We have a few drinks in between time. Relaxation time at the spa. I love watching movies and riding my motorcycle and a little shopping. I also love the water so we would definitely go swimming as well. I’m not to big on partying. I am more of a home body but I truly like being in quiet places so my energy aligns with when I’m baking. I believe that when you produce a product you truly have to be in the right place mentally physically and emotionally to get a good result.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Well there are a few people that help keep me motivated. Charles Cooper was the first person I spoke my vision to in 2021 and it came to pass a year later. My dad (Jimmy L. Scott Sr. for always supporting me thru encouraging words. Investing in products and ordering cakes for his church everytime they have a church function. My auntie Wanda Snead cheering me on and investing. My girlfriend(s)/sister(s) Panda Smith, & Lisa Jenkins always lending encouragement and investing in me constantly. I love them all for being who they are to me. They help keep me going… Oh and my mom Armildred Scott for always being the hardest on me, to make me better. I may not like it all the time but suggestive criticism I’d needed so you can push harder to be GREAT!
