We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Irvin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sarah, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
The habits of action and consistency. Some people are too afraid to take that first step of action and even when they do they do not keep doing it consistently. I believe that you have to be willing to take action despite fears or doubts you have within yourself or concerned about others opinions. On top of this, in my opinion, it has to be done consistently even when it’s hard or if you’re not achieving the goals you’ve set yet,
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Yes! I own a company called Powerhouse Coaching & Consulting! I help female entrepreneurs develop powerhouse systems and strategies to implement in their business. Our courses have a heavy emphasis on mindset and overcoming mental blocks. I offer many different coaching options from monthly group coaching, one day intensive coaching and custom 8 week coaching. I also speak at various conferences, workshops and virtual events! On top of that we also host our own events throughout the year!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to ponce city market where they could enjoy good food, shopping and fun! There are so many different dining and entertainment options which make it the perfect stop! Next, I would make sure that the botanical garden is on the list of things we do. There is always something going on there and it gives a moment to relax and enjoy the outdoors while still being in the heart of the city. I would want to take my guest to one of the many museums in the city, there are many to choose from ranging from coca cola to delta museum. I’m a foodie so we would be spending the majority of our time eating our way through the restaurants in the city. Like the Atlanta breakfast club, Bone’s restaurant and buttermilk café to name a few.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am fortunate to be surrounded by amazing friends and family who are supportive, which I am very grateful. The one person who is always behind the scenes and ready to help in any way, that never wants any recognition for it would be my dear friend and business partner Latasha. Her friendship and business contributions are beneficial and deeply appreciated.
