We had the good fortune of connecting with Samara Bynum and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Samara, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
That I could create something with love and family that will allow me to use what God has given me. I have been a creative since I was a little girl and I lost that as I grew up and became a grown women. Making candles allows me to not only hand pour candles but use my creative juices to make something the had quality, is affordable and with love and legacy on my mind.

What should our readers know about your business?
We at Stay Lit Candles LB hand pour natural candles, wax melts, room sprays and car oils. We also make natural products for the skin. What sets us apart is that we are all about love, family and legacy. We love our customers and treat them like family, making sure we do what we say and honor what we promise. I hand pour everything in small batches to.make sure everything gets the same attention, quality, and concentration of mixed ingredients. We have gotten this far by God’s grace, being patient and moving with discernment. There are so many challenges when you are new to a whole new industry. So we just are continuing to grow with knowledge, skill and networking with others more advance in this field. I’ve learned to take risk and BE PATIENT! I want the world to know that our company has integrity, faith and love for all. Customer satisfaction is our goal along with passing on something to our kids.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would first like to give a shout out to God Almighty who has given me the vision, the drive and the creative to do what I am doing. Second my husband, who spearheaded this whole journey and created the formula to our soy candles.
Third my kids who support me by assisting me wherever I need assistance.
