We had the good fortune of connecting with Robbie and Allyssa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Robbie and Allyssa, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
As actors ourselves, (who have worked in Los Angeles, NYC, Boston and Atlanta), we have a first-hand understanding of the important role quality headshots play in a performer’s career. We also fully appreciate how stressful the process can be!

When we opened our business 4 years ago, our primary goal was to make the headshot experience fun and most importantly, effective. We wanted actors to have more than just pretty pictures, we wanted them to have pictures that got results! As a husband and wife team, our mission is to create a fun, relaxing atmosphere that sets the actor up for success from the moment that walk in the door.
We took our combined 30 years of industry experience and created a process that helps actors capture their most authentic selves. We assist with everything from wardrobe selection to coaching during the actual session. We even offer makeup “in house” to make the process as seamless and easy as possible.
The most rewarding compliment we receive is an actor saying “my photos finally look like me!”.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Our business was founded because we genuinely care about our fellow performers, and we wanted to find a way to contribute meaningfully to the artistic community. We firmly believe that the industry can and SHOULD be one full of support and sincerity, not selfishness or a “cut-throat” mentality. We eagerly share our industry experience and knowledge with our clients, in the hopes that we can make their journey just a little easier. We aim for clients to leave a session with us, not just with fantastic photos, but also feeling inspired and renewed as artists.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Great question! As transplants ourselves, there is still so much of the city we haven’t discovered! Personal favorites for us have been in North Georgia, enjoying the quaint towns of Dahlonega and Helen, or a beautiful hike at Panther Creek Falls.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We owe all of our success to the amazing actors that have allowed us to be a part of their performance journey!
