We had the good fortune of connecting with Reynalyn Ancajas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Reynalyn, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I aspire for my legacy of joyfulness—rooted in my love for God, my devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the grounding strength of my Catholic faith—to be carried forward by those whose lives I have touched. I hope to be remembered for demonstrating that, even in seasons of hardship and adversity, God’s grace reveals a silver lining for those who seek it with an open heart. Through the intercession of Holy Mary, small moments of hope and quiet miracles can create a butterfly effect, inspiring resilience, faith, and compassion.

Central to this legacy is my commitment to serving the poor and the needy, recognizing Christ’s presence in every person who suffers or lacks support. By embracing joy even in difficult circumstances, and by extending that joy through acts of charity and service, we participate in God’s loving plan—cultivating a world where hope is shared, dignity is uplifted, and faith becomes a lived expression of love.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What began as my personal devotion to carrying tangible reminders of faith has blossomed into a collection created to uplift and inspire others. My daughter, Sophia, has lovingly handcrafted each piece in the Sophia Creates collection, infusing every design with care, creativity, and intention.

What sets our brand apart is the heart behind every item: a mother–daughter mission grounded in prayer, handcrafted artistry, and a genuine desire to help others live their faith with joy. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and ethically created—not mass-produced—reflecting our commitment to hope, compassion, and service. As part of this mission, 10% of every purchase is given to support hungry children in the Philippines, allowing every item to become an act of love that reaches far beyond the hands that wear it.

Together, we craft jewelry and bags that keep the heart anchored in hope, prayer, and the gentle guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Every piece becomes a reminder of faith, a token of love, and a symbol of grace—inviting you to wear your faith beautifully and to live joyfully every day.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friend were visiting for a week, I would take them to experience some of the most memorable places in Georgia and beyond. We would begin with Kamayan ATL for authentic Filipino food—a warm and hearty way to share the flavors of home. For adventure, we would head to Treetop Quest in Dunwoody to enjoy zip-lining and high ropes in a beautiful outdoor setting.

We would spend time exploring Piedmont Park, one of Atlanta’s most iconic green spaces, and visit the World of Coca-Cola to enjoy its history, exhibits, and classic charm. Of course, we’d stop by The Varsity for a nostalgic Georgia meal that completes any first-time visit.

To make the trip even more special, we would venture out to Ruby Falls, where breathtaking underground waterfalls offer a unique and unforgettable experience. We would also ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, taking in the peaceful mountain views and the charm of North Georgia’s countryside.

It would be a week filled with adventure, beauty, good food, and memories that truly capture the spirit of the South.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I attribute much of my success to Alison J. Prince, the founder of the Because I Can community—a network of entrepreneurs whose mentorship and encouragement have profoundly shaped my journey. I am equally indebted to my husband and daughter, whose unwavering support has lightened the responsibilities I carry as a mother and wife while I pursue my master’s degree and manage our online shop. Their presence has been a source of strength, clarity, and motivation.

Above all, my guiding prayer mantra—“God will always provide”—sustains my spirit in moments of uncertainty and reminds me that true happiness is rooted in gratitude. I offer heartfelt thanks to God and to the Blessed Virgin Mary for their divine assistance, guidance, and protection as I undertake this endeavor. It is through their grace that I continue to grow, persevere, and serve others with purpose and joy.
