Hi Rachel, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Over time, my work-life balance has evolved significantly. Early in my career, I was very focused on establishing myself professionally, which sometimes meant longer hours and less personal time. However, as I’ve grown in my career, I’ve realized the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life.
I think of work-life balance as a dynamic and ongoing process rather than a fixed state. It’s about finding a rhythm that allows me to be productive and fulfilled at work while also taking time for personal interests, family, and self-care. I’ve learned to prioritize tasks, set boundaries, and make time for what truly matters outside of work.
In my current role, I’ve found that clear communication and time management are key to maintaining this balance. I strive to be efficient and focused during work hours, which allows me to enjoy my personal time without stress or guilt. Additionally, I believe in the importance of flexibility and adapting to changes, whether they arise from work demands or personal commitments.
Overall, I view work-life balance as a crucial component of long-term success and well-being. It’s about creating a sustainable routine that supports both professional achievements and personal happiness.
What should our readers know about your business?
Titanz Fitness is a 24/7 gym located in Smyrna, Georgia, co-owned by my husband and me. What sets us apart is our commitment to providing a welcoming atmosphere for all fitness levels, along with specialized equipment from top brands like Panatta and Rogue. Our facility spans 13,000 sq ft and includes an on-site nutrition store offering brands like Nuethix and Redcon 1.
In addition to managing the gym, I am also a personal trainer and an online gut and hormone health coach, specializing in working with competitors and individuals ready to level up their fitness journey. This unique specialization allows me to offer tailored programs that address specific health needs, helping clients achieve optimal performance and well-being.
One of the things I’m most proud of is our personalized nutritional counseling program, which boasts a 90% success rate. It’s incredibly rewarding to see our members achieve their health and fitness goals through our tailored guidance.
Getting to where we are today wasn’t always easy. Like many businesses, we’ve faced challenges, particularly in marketing and growing our supplement sales. We primarily rely on referrals, which has been both a strength and a limitation. However, we’ve learned the importance of adaptability and are exploring new strategies to expand our reach.
A key lesson we’ve learned is the value of community and personalized service. By focusing on building strong relationships with our members and offering unique programs like prenatal training and Glute Camp, we’ve created a loyal and engaged community.
What I want the world to know about Titanz Fitness is that we’re more than just a gym; we’re a community dedicated to helping individuals achieve their best selves. Our story is one of passion, perseverance, and the belief that everyone deserves a supportive environment to pursue their fitness journey.
