We had the good fortune of connecting with Noah Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Noah, what do you attribute your success to?
One of my good friends, Coach Vaki, said, “It’s not the what. It’s the why.”

My why is the most important factor. It’s authentic, genuine and true to who I am; being a servant, passing on knowledge to the next generation and spreading my faith via action(s).

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
NoBro, we offer an opportunity for young men who are the underdog(s), develop their passion for basketball. The separation is the ‘why’.

We do it so players who may not have the resources to compete, get a chance to grow as a player and person. Although basketball is the vehicle for players to attend, leaving our camp(s) with an awareness of “who” they are and “where” they need to go is top priority.

Life, like business is simple. Not easy. And anything worth cultivating will bring it’s share of challenges. Knowing that chasing failures is more instrumental in growth than chasing success, gives me the confidence to overcome.

I also have a strong counsel. We are very prayerful.

The chief lesson along the way continues to be a mantra of mine; life is a game. There is no sequel. Either sit in the stands and spectate or swing a little, throw a bit and catch a few. You will lose way more than you win, however, both are crucial in order to increase.

We are here to make every effort to serve.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Stone Mountain is a must. The view of the city and hiking up to the top us a subliminal conquest.

Pre-Covid, catching an Atlanta United MLS game for an experience unmatched is definitely worth the price of admission. Atlanta is a foody city, too many restaurants to name, however Kitchen Six and The Consulate stand out the most, currently. Lastly, Ponce City Market and the Beltline is refreshing.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

There are countless people who deserve credit. Each step of my journey, someone has come along and sharpened my ax. Whether it’s my USA Select group, partners with NoBro, prayer warriors, family member(s) or mentor(s),

Much love and thank you!

I am a page collector (#nobropagecollectorchallenge). I read books habitually; gathering data from all of them. I would be discrediting many authors to only name one.
