We had the good fortune of connecting with Moneisha White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Moneisha, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Our business helps the community by providing Breast Cancer awareness screening, ensuring early detection and improved outcomes for community members. Our comprehensive prostate testing services offer crucial screenings for men, promoting proactive health management and early intervention. These tests are crucial and are our way of giving back to the community along with educational tools, preventive measures, and treatment options for the clients. We also do a back-to-school jamboree annually to provide essential school supplies, backpacks, and school physicals for the new upcoming school year. This helps families be prepared and get to a great start. White Labs Concierge is dedicated to improving health outcomes and supporting the well-being of our community through comprehensive testing, educational resources, and meaningful community events.

What should our readers know about your business?
White Labs Concierge Lab Services is a mobile lab collection service based out of Atlanta, GA. We collect blood, urine, stool, drug tests, DNA, and Reseach labs for private entities, corporations, lawyers, and government entities by bringing the lab to their business, home, or on-site setting for convenience and a VIP experience. Things that set us apart from other mobile lab services is that not only does the founder have over 27 years of experience in healthcare and laboratory experience, but we also distinguish ourselves in superior service offerings, community engagement, and technological innovation. I am most proud of getting my first government contract and excited to continue on bidding for local and federal contracts. It took me seven years to get to where I am today. Was it easy? No, not at all. I gave up multiple times after starting the first year, then I staring doing it as a side gig and not taking it serious after year two. Year three the pandemic happened, and it gave me hope because healthcare was the only thing going. So, I set up a my own Covid Drive thru until it wasn’t mandated anymore. I realized then I had something special and not to give up. I didn’t have the support of the bank loan, only my wits and how to work. I found a mentor and learned how to properly be a CEO and not just a worker bee. I stopped comparing my journey and how my business was going against others. I’ve learned it’s okay to lose to another company. That no just means not yet. I also learned that in business you need help, and you need a team. When you’re working solo, you miss so much because you end up doing everything instead of what you love to do. GET YOU A TEAM!!! I want the world to know that I may be a small business, but I have a big dream of being international. White labs Concierge Lab Services wants to show women and men in other countries how they can be just as important to themselves and family by collecting blood as a skill and job. Me teaching others is my ultimate high and the next chapter of White Labs Services.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a friend came to visit me for a week the first place would be downtown Atlanta to the Ferris wheel and walk around to sightseeing. Then do the City Lights Night Tour. Day two we would go to the world of Coca-Cola for a tour and drink all the flavors of Coke. Then visit the Centennial Park. Day three would be the Botanical Gardens and eat at the restaurants there. Day four we would go outside the city to Andrettis for some go carts and bowling. Day five depending on the weather Stone Mountain Park with a little hiking, food, pictures. Not much of a club person, but I would love to do paint and sip at Splatters Art Studio. I would go to Newnan and do a tour at Trilith Studios to see what movies or TV Shows are being taped.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout out to all the women I have come across through my journey, but one in particular is Monica Hooks. She took the time to assist in getting to the who and what my brand is. By her breaking this down I was able to propel myself and my business to the next level. Her introductions and connections needed for this process was enormous and I valued the information and the connections she bestowed to me. I have used each connection and have made it my own valuable resource that has become more like family and friends. Thank you very much.
