We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Williamson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I been taking risks my whole life, if it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t be who I am today

Six book covers arranged in two rows, three columns, with titles and images visible.

What should our readers know about your business?
I used to do traffic control until that one day I had a horrific accident that claimed my life but the lady that ran me over with the car did CPR and brought me back, and after years of physical therapy and speech therapy, I’m back to the best version of myself and now I work for myself. Became an independent contractor

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to a few of my favorite spots like Nattabelle’s to get a world famous sweet potato brownie, then slide to Dream Kreams and get ice cream, take them to Shirley Mae’s and get us some good seafood, then visit places I grew up, where I used to hang, show them where I grew up at. Dine at some of my favorite restaurants and kick it downtown.

Box of drugs with a logo, stacked bricks, and a starry background, with text about 1000 grams and a true story.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wanna shout out my first book 1000 Grams, I gave the good, the bad, and the ugly and delivered a story I feel like everybody could love or hate
