We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael McCadney and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michael, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
My ultimate goal is to provide stability and opportunity not only for myself, but my family, friends, and community. I feel like God has given me skills and insight in order to put others in position to flourish
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I love music first and foremost. I know for a fact that God has called me to create. I can’t see myself doing anything else. The act of creating something unique from nothing gets me every time. The process of becoming proficient in music creation is not easy at all. It has taken me years to fully understand and consider myself a professional. One thing i’ve learned over the years is to always be confident and content with my work.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love Edgewood. Whether it’s to eat, party, or just hang out, I love being out. Especially during the summer months. There’s always something to get into
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have a few pivotal people in my life. My cousin Chamon Gayton was the first person to introduce me to music. My manager Givenchy Royal has been instrumental to me navigating within the music industry. Also, my best friend Jerome Spencer for being my business and idea partner.
