Meet Lucky Goldie | Founder & Creative Director of PoeticProductionNYC: multimedia company…

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lucky Goldie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lucky, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
The most important thing I’ve done as a parent is give my daughter, Charisma Love, both roots and wings. Roots in love, faith, and purpose—so she grows knowing exactly who she is. And wings, so she can dream bigger than I ever imagined. Since the age of three she’s been signed to State Management here in New York, and now at seven years old she’s blossoming into her own light. Watching her thrive reminds me daily that our little girl is very special, and that as parents—fathers especially—we must go above and beyond to raise balanced children who walk with confidence. My role is to break each generational curse with excellence, so her path is paved with freedom, creativity, and legacy.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is born from survival, from Brooklyn concrete turned into scripture. Poetry, music, visuals—Poetic Production NYC is the vessel I created to fuse it all together. What sets me apart is that I don’t just write poems, I live them. Every line is inked with real experience—betrayal, prison, redemption, fatherhood, and the vision of legacy.
It wasn’t easy. I had to break curses, sit in silence, and sharpen my pen in isolation. But I turned affliction into fuel. The same noise that tried to drown me became rhythm, cadence, and music. That’s how I got here—by refusing to fold.
I’m proud that my debut book, Life Is Just a Dream, is out in the world, globally distributed, sitting in libraries, in people’s hands, and carving out a lane for poetry where it belongs: at the center of culture. I’m proud that my daughter, Charisma Love, inspires and joins this journey, showing the power of generational legacy.
The lessons? Patience, faith, and relentlessness. Success isn’t instant—it’s daily seeds watered with discipline.
What I want the world to know is that I’m not just telling my story—I’m telling our story. Poetic Production NYC is more than a brand, it’s a movement. It’s proof that words can build kingdoms, heal wounds, and turn dreams into gold.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being born and raised in New York City is already a dream in motion—a place where grit meets greatness and the streets hum their own symphony. If I had a best friend visiting for a week, the city would do the talking.
We’d start with brunch—the flavor tour. From La Cabaña Rodriguez in Flatbush for that Dominican warmth, to Negril’s for a taste of Jamaica’s fire, and of course dipping into my favorite Chinese and Italian spots where cultures collide on a plate.
But food is just the prelude. The heartbeat is the studio—where we’d create, pen to paper, sound to soul. Poetry spilling into beats, beats bending into legacy. That’s not just an activity, that’s a timeless one-of-one experience.
And when it’s time to breathe, the city opens its arms wide. We’d wander the Meatpacking District where style meets history, then cross into DUMBO, where Brooklyn’s skyline kisses the water and the lights remind you that you’re alive.
That’s New York through my eyes: food, art, and soul—all stitched together into a weeklong poem you’ll never forget.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, my shoutout goes to Jehovah God—the greatest author and creative genius to ever exist. None before, none now, and none after will ever match the glory of the Father and the Son. Every word I write, every stage I stand on, every dream I dare to live flows from His breath. I am grateful beyond measure—for His vision, His timing, His mercy. Without Him, there is no me, no movement, no legacy. With Him, even my scars turn into scriptures, and my setbacks become testimonies. To God be the glory—always.
