We had the good fortune of connecting with Lovely Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lovely, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have a very unique name and it’s always been a struggle to find anything personalized or in the stores. I’ve always loved being creative and I love home decor. I wanted every person that purchased from me to have an experience of exhortation of love, creativity and making something meaningful and custom just for their special occasions.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I make pretty handmade things! My clients refer to me as the Bling and Wreath lady. My clients come to me for custom, personalized and handmade gifts for all occasions. From birthdays, bridal, home decor, etched glassware, even funerals. I am a one stop gift shop.

I take the time during our consultations and listen to understand what you need and want for your special occasion. I Input my creativity and we make something beautiful and memorable.

I am most proud of myself for creating my own website, no experience just learning as I walked myself through it. Learning how to navigate and placing everything in a specification, so I make it easy as possible for clients to shop, add to cart and check out!

I also created a faith based clothing brand called God’s Daughter which is for girls and women of all ages to remember who they are in Christ and when wear a hoodie or shirt , it’s a reminder of who God says they are.

I also created prayer journal on Amazon which I am most proud of , as I have fourteen journals myself, I found that writing is very therapeutic and somethings you need to write out , seek God and expect an answer from him. You can reflect back on your entries as proof of what God did for you. Lessons you learned, dreams, visions , declarations etc.

Lessons I’ve learned are to not compare my journey with any one else’s. I have an audience who needs what I have and to continue to stay consistent and keep showing up for LovelysCreations31.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
What I’ve noticed is each city has its own identity and unique things to do. I would do brunch, spa time to Relax, Botanical gardens , and visit different cities to give her an experience. I love bowling so take her bowling, visit the Battery, perhaps even try out one of the selfie museums for memories. Really just have a good time and try to make a live concert.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My children ,family and close circle of friends who see the many gifts and talents that God has blessed me with. They are supportive and give me wise counsel and feedback. I trust their transparency and honest criticism to elevate and be the best creative version of myself. Always looking for room to improve and evolve and continue to make merchandise that makes everyone feel special and leaves an impact on their lives for that moment or memory they seek me to assist in.
