Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started painting canvases since I was 4 years old, I also sketched a lot of gowns and made doll clothes.
I ended up following a career in Fashion design, wholesale and custom gowns all designed and sketched by me. Just a few years ago I decided to take my drawing ideas into big canvases.
I created 48×60 and 36×48 (my favorite sizes) acrylic or oil mostly with textured modeling paste, framed with a Farm House feel big wood frames.
After I participate in the Piedmont Park festival and encounter the opinion of our community and sold many of my one of a kind pieces I decided to change careers and become a full time artist.
I had a gallery space inside The Cotton Mill Exchange but because of the art demand inside Atlanta decided to move into the Westside Market in the midtown location space 409, it’s an amazing local space for artists, interior designers and our community.
I also have created an eighteen feet tall mural on the Beltline (at the old Paris on Ponce building) where thousands of people walk by weekly.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
That sounds great I have an Airbnb in the Virginia Highlands and always get those questions asked.
I would start with renting a scooter at Piedmont Park, heading over to Ponce City Market for some king of Pops.
A Pilsner local beer at New Realm Brewery.
A sunset drinks at the Clermont Hotel rooftop.
Some amazing local fish sandwich at Fishmonger.
Life band Karaoke with our amazing English Nick, inside Darkhorse.
Late drinks at Vesper.
Or dance the night away at Banshee in East Atlanta.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
“I’d like to dedicate my Shoutout to all artists, interior designers, researchers, and the ones who loves art. We couldn’t do this without the support of our community, choosing to buy and order commissions from us local artists instead of massive produced prints. Additionally, I’d like to acknowledge the support and feedback from friends, family and clients, who continue to help me improve and refine my abilities. Thank you for being an integral part of my development and success!”
