We had the good fortune of connecting with LaRitta Webb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LaRitta, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My initial thoughts were, “I’m taking all my expertise and experience that I’ve gained from corporate America, and I’ve giving them to a space & community that needs me. I’m going to provide solutions to a community of thriving business owners that will welcome my seat at the table and I will no longer prove I desire to be here.” A friend told me to give ALL my gifts to the world and not to stay in just one lane. So, I finally did just that. I stopped trying to pick between my passion for fitness and my nerdy love for solving all supply chain problems. I decided to show up as my full self and be both. Throughout my entire career I’ve consistently made companies faster, better and stronger by driving effective and efficient solutions within supply chain operations. I have implemented solutions that saved time and money for business owners, resulting in 6-7 figures of operational savings and made their organizations more efficient. This is why the Profit Nerd was born.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Profit Nerd is a consulting firm that manages client risk and strategically increasing profitability for businesses by driving supply chain efficiencies throughout their organization. We dive deeply to analyze and provide solutions to the gaps in each piece of your supply chain, drawing on our expertise, while processing the data to provide a custom solution that yields results. We increase your margins by eliminating waste throughout your supply chain. TPN provides solutions in strategy & transformation, inventory optimization, and supply chain engineering. We evaluate a company wholistic assessing their invoicing & payment terms in addition to their supplier relationships.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My support circle is mighty and definitely the reason why everyday I decide to “just keep going, let God worry about the ‘how’ and manifest any & everything I want.” My family & friends keep me sane and focused they are why I am so resilient. The mastermind I am apart of is a tribe of amazing, successful, business women that pour into each other continuously. Launch & Grow, and the owner, Gina Woods have been my tribe of support who I will forever be grateful to be a part of the community she created. Ranay Orton, the owner of Glow by Daye, was my first client. She was the person that told me to give ALL my gifts God has blessed me with and to be all of me. I will never forget that conversation. Gaynete Jones, owner of Best Periodt, is a serial entrepreneur who is a beast. She continuously poured into me with affirming words, accountability and pushing me to keep dreaming bigger and bigger while doing the work! Because of this foundation, so many more people have entered in my life that have provided mentorship, support and love.
