We had the good fortune of connecting with Kierra KiKi Bridgeforth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kierra KiKi, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I am originally born and raised in Memphis, Tn, and I have now been in Atlanta for 9 years. I grew up in a single parent home along with 3 brothers and watched my mother hustle everyday to provide for us be it corporate America or side gigs. We grew up in the projects and she worked hard to move us away and that is just what we did. I honestly think being from such a poor population and being a teen my mother myself is what has always fueled me to strive for anything I was told I couldn’t be or do. I have always had a go getter spirit and I knew that with God nothing could stop me but me. Every trial and tribulation (and there were many) molded me into the giving, hard working, compassionate woman I am today. I live my life, business or pleasure, by a simple motto Faith Over Fear!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Keys With KiKi LLC. was birthed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and exudes all things real estate. As a licensed Georgia realtor I assist families on their road to homeownership, assist investors with acquiring and selling properties and educate clients on managing and sustaining their personal credit. Here at Keys With KiKi it’s all about the experience. From beginning to end my goal is to provide an amazing tailor-made experience when buying or selling. I am excited about the opportunity to assist families of all kinds in owning a piece of the land we take so much pride in, to break the chains of generational curses, and helping 1st timers believe that their dreams can come true.

I have come this far in business by understanding that I am a forever a student no matter how many years I have under my belt. It is my responsibility as a business owner to stay abreast of the constant changes in the industry to serve my community at my best. Entrepreneurship is no easy road and I have overcome a few challenges by simply asking for help. I have a wonderful mentor who has guided me even before I set sail on my own. I am a firm believer that at a closed mouth won’t get fed and as entrepreneurs we do ourselves a disservice by not utilizing the resources God has around us.
The most important lesson I have learned along the way is to bet on yourself! Your thoughts control your narrative and if you believe you can you will.

I want my brand and business to inspire women who look like me, who had a rough start, who have a totally different career path to always follow your dreams. I want my clients and potential clients to understand that they are working with a realtor who is dedicated and has a heart of service. Serving my community as a nurse and realtor has been so rewarding in such trying times. I help families at their lowest and then turn around and help them at their proudest.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love a nice rooftop and a good meal. My first stop would be The Roof at Ponce City Market since they offer an amazing skyline of the city, nostalgic arcade games, and ice cold frozen rosé. Dinner at Apt 4B is non negotiable and for a night out Harold’s Chicken and Ice Bar. Atlanta has so many gems like The Beltline, Krog Street Market, Apex Museum, and High Museum of Art. You can even go searching for tiny doors on a Tiny Door ATL tour! Atlanta is rich with history and has something for every palate. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would first have to dedicate my shoutout to my “sun”, LaDarius Ruben Jr. He has most definitely been my why. As an entrepreneur and nurse you wake up many days and wonder if you are doing it all right, if the time away from your family is worth it, and if your loved ones understand the selflessness we have to have is to create generational wealth for them. Secondly, Kevin, my fiancé, has had my back as I cried my way through nursing school & encouraged me to get into real estate and become a realtor. Last but not least my village! I am blessed with a host of family & friends who have stood in the gap for me, encouraged, and referred clients my way to help grow my business. I am simply nothing without them.
