We had the good fortune of connecting with Joe Nedza and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joe, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to focus my life and businesses around simplicity. While burgers are what we sell, building strong men and women is what we do. My business allows me to have constant interaction with the next generation and pour my heart and soul into helping grow them, all while making really great burgers, fries and pudding.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are a burger restaurant that focuses on simplicity. Baddies really exists to do a few things really well. We have a super simple menu. One burger that comes three ways (single, double or triple), fries, Banana Pudding. Any restaurant that grows only does so through a TREMENDOUS amount of time, tears and tribulation. It is the farthest thing from easy, but I LOVE it. To overcome the difficulty, we really just focused on making a great product so we can truly focus on the building of people, because that is our mission.
We got to where we are through unreal failure and difficulty. It was very much an iron sharpens iron and being stubborn/not quitting thing.
We want to make the best burger, fries and banana pudding, but that is not our chief focus. We really want people to be able to come in and get a delicious product that is quick and affordable. We also know that people wake up daily and are presented with difficult decisions. We want Baddies to be easy (dont have to thing too long or hard on what you want since there is really only one thing) so that we can take one thing off of your mental plate.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
