We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Marc Anthony and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremy Marc Anthony, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The question of why a potential client/customer should choose you over another vendor will always plague your mind, how you answer it will set you apart.

We now live in a society where everybody does a little of everything so it is important when creating your brand to find those things that will allow you to break away from the norm and be above the rest. That important factor for me is execution, delivery and response. How the task is executed, the attention to detail, always going above and beyond. The delivery of said task and the creativeness behind it. The response, if there is an issue, how quickly you pivot to resolve it to put the client at ease.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My journey had many hurdles, some I jumped with ease, others not so much. The most significant struggle for creative individuals like myself is finding your lane. So many times, I was told, “You need to pick one thing” or “You do too much,” no, I don’t do enough. I learned that it is essential to invest in all of your crafts equally. Do not allow people to dictate your talents. It is possible to find ways for your different ventures to work together and support each other.

Jeremy Marc Anthony LLC is a creative company providing catering, photography and event consultation. With a degree in Studio Art and Music and a passion for food, I’ve found a way to merge all lanes to create a unique experience for my clientele that is unlike any other.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The High Art Museum, Weezy’s ATL for the best food and drinks in the city. Kimball House for Champagne and Caviar. City Winery to enjoy live music. We’d have to embark on a self care day, sauna and snow shower at Perspire, massages with Foy C Munlin Jr. It’s Atlanta, something new is always happening, from the many festivals and concerts to art shows, you’ll always find something to do.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As I think about the dash of my life, a few people come to mind who had some sort of impact on where I am today. My father, Dr. Vilroy McBean, sister Venisha Frith and brother Alex McBean. Mr. Wyman Jones (Springbrook High School, Silver Spring, MD), Professors Tamika Williams and Jennie Couch (Alabama A& M University), my mother Andrene Williams. Probably the most influential of all, Valerie Davidson. These people helped shape and mold the boy into the man you see today.
