Meet Ibrahim Dakubu | Teacher, healer and all-out creative

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ibrahim Dakubu and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ibrahim, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always believed in creating generational wealth and building structures for the effective proliferation of my skills and talents. Entrepreneurship in my opinion is the best way to do this. Charisma, skills and college credentials, though essential, are not enough to guarantee success, freedom and sustainability. The budget of my hope is God’s ability, so I always believed with the right systems, protocols and procedures in place, God’s grace would guarantee success in any venture I go into. My ultimate aim is to build businesses that transform communities and transcend generations.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a serial entrepreneur. I believe when faith meets function, everything is possible.
Through my coaching, mentoring, healthcare and counseling businesses, Dunamis Global Media and MyDoc Health Solutions, I help people and organizations to discover sustainable, spirit-led, and science-backed solutions for healing, empowerment, and transformation.
As a social entrepreneur, I pioneer solutions for developing nations through renewable energy, sustainable housing and strategic innovation. Energeo Systems and Jeremiah Builders Ltd are based in Accra, Ghana. These ventures reflect my heart for impact and infrastructure. Our mission is to put affordable clean energy within the reach of every African. We strongly envision innovating toward a carbon-neutral world.
My innovation flows into the arts as well. As the Creative Director of MCD Music & Entertainment, based in Florida’s Emerald Coast, I release music that ministers to the soul. Under the artist name AbrahamTheLion, I have released two studio albums: “Warrior Kings & Priests” and “Sounds, Frequencies & Transmissions.” These albums are on all the major digital streaming platforms. Through my intercessory and deliverance ministry, Jeremiah Ministries International, we offer spiritual guidance, prayer, and teaching to a global audience. I am also the publisher of the “Big Ups To Dream Chasers” Podcast which is hosted on all the major podcast channels.
When you have a definite vision for your life, your decisions become clearer and your life gets better. Clarity of mind guarantees precision of actions. When you take precise actions, your life gets richer.
To realize every vision, you must systematize it. You need to build strategy, protocols and procedures around the vision for its full manifestation to show forth in time and on time.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Since I am a globetrotter, it will depend on my location at the particular time- If I am in Atlanta, we would have brunch at Atlanta Breakfast Club. We will explore Ponce City Market and stroll the Atlanta BeltLine — murals, shops, snacks. Since I am an arts and culture enthusiast, we will visit the High Museum of Art, other museums and a history walking tour especially the MLK sites within the downtown area.
For the afternoons we can have a picnic or walk in Piedmont Park, visit the Georgia Aquarium and Coca Cola. We would also walk the BeltLine Eastside Trail & check East Atlanta Village.

For dinners, Southern classics at South City Kitchen Midtown, Elevated Southern at Lazy Betty,
Final breakfast and coffee at The Breakfast Boys and last minute shopping or museum before departure.
If we are in Accra, Ghana we will visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum — get a feel for Ghana’s independence history. Check out Black Star Square / Independence Square nearby. For lunch, try authentic Ghanaian eats at The Buka Restaurant, Osu, Accra (waakye & more). Other eatery options would be Mama Cuisine for hearty Ghanaian brunch vibes and other beach-side hangouts.
During the day time, Museum hop (contemporary art spots around town) or spa/relaxation.
For evening hangouts and dinners,Tribeca Ghana or Persia Restaurant Ghana, Santoku (one of Accra’s best for sushi & fusion), Osu Oxford Street walk. We would also try “Papaye” my favorite fast food in the entire world and “Fanice,” the most delicious ice cream on the planet.
We would also pick up handcrafted souvenirs — textiles, jewelry, art.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has been instrumental in my spiritual development through his teachings, prayers and leadership. Dr. Cindy Trimm’s teachings, mentorship and encouragement have helped a lot to increase my confidence. Apostle Dr. Christian Harfouche and the team at Global Apostolic Church & International Miracle Institute (IMI) have been instrumental in my spiritual journey. Dale Carnegie’s all-time classic “How to win friends and influence people,” has really helped to shape my leadership paradigm. Dr. John Maxwell’s “21 skills of leadership,” and his coaching program have been invaluable in my process.
