We had the good fortune of connecting with Henrietta McCall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Henrietta, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I had worked in social services for over 25 years, and I loved helping people, but I really enjoyed seeing people reach their full potential by securing good paying jobs. I enjoyed calling places and talking with human resources about opportunities for my clients and that is when I decided to start a staffing / recruiting firm.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started working in social services in my 20’s right after college and I been doing it for many years. I enjoy social services but staffing and recruiting is my heart / soul at this point in my life.

Growing my business has not been easy in fact every day is struggle, but I am determined to own the best direct hire staffing firm in Georgia.

The biggest lesson I have learned is to always bet on myself and never give up. I know that the best days of my business is ahead of me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spots in my city is gym, Unleash with Nesh , I enjoy starting day with working out and lifting weights. My favorite lunch spot is Summos Tea . I also enjoy hanging with my family and friends.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My community is my inspiration, I am such a community person. I started this business but didn’t put much into it until a friend reminded me Southern Pro Staffing was my baby and deserved my full attention. I am very dedicated to Southern Pro Staffing being a permanent fixture in the Bulloch County area. Although I recruit for the entire country, I really enjoy when I get contracts locally. Assisting local people with getting jobs is my passion, again I believe in being a part of the community.
