We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabrielle Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabrielle, how do you think about risk?
Taking a risk is how I got here. At work, bored on the the floor. Took out my phone and begin recording tik toks about fashion with no filter. I completely forgot Saks even had a social media policy but luckily I did not break it. Taking that risk and being myself in those videos is what gained me success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My personality. I started off making Tik Toks showing the products I believed were worth purchasing but all the associates at all the major retailers do that. It was me adding my humor into the mix that really set me apart. Even if you didn’t feel you could buy anything I showed, or even stepped foot in that kind of store, I made it still feel relatable. Like being on FaceTime with your friend or shopping with your homegirl.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Luxe and leisure is my middle name. Sundays start with brunch at the Four Seasons. All you can eat luxurious buffet that is always perfection. Afterwards head downstairs to the spa to enjoy massages and the facilities. Along with their gym and sauna they have an indoor pool and hot tub that can utilized all year round. Finish with dinner at The Consulate that has delicious world wide cosine and a rotating menu. The rest of the week would be followed by activities such as the beltline, shopping, manicures and pedicures. I’m a die hard Falcons fan so if there’s a game, we will be in the suite! Atlanta is my heart and home. It’s filled with so many fun surprises.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
God deserves all the credit from me. Ive always wanted to be in fashion in some sort of capacity but never could really land on exactly what and how. God made a way when I didn’t think there was one.
