We had the good fortune of connecting with Ferrari Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ferrari, what matters most to you?
Integrity is what i value the most. I practice and preach in always doing the right thing when no one is looking. At a young age, i began to learn that practicing honesty, respect, being authentic, and doing right by others would soon transform me into a person of value. I strive to become valuable to the world through integrity.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Once i discovered my true passion in life and knew i could profit from doing what i love, that changed my view on how i wanted life to be. I knew that i was not fit for the corporate world growing up, so thats when i began manifesting the Plan A of my life.

This has not been the easiest journey, thus far, but that doesn’t make it impossible. Challenges comes unexpectedly often when pursuing entrepreneurship. Some days are long, you can be fully booked one week, then one to none the next. Should i quit? Is always a question that stuck with me for years. Learning that having faith and truly believing that i am living in my purpose has kept me from getting distracted with a plan B.

Being able to spread knowledge and self confidence in others through Hairapy is what i intend for my business to achieve. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
With Atlanta being one of the hottest commodities, there is plenty of things to partake in. Starting from sun up, there are many brunch places, now parties, to attend. My favorite would happen to be Thumbs Up Diner, where the food is good and affordable. An Atlanta itinerary is anything from hiking, shopping, day-partying, and eating more food than you can imagine.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give thanks to all family and friends who have trusted me throughout all the years of long hours of perfecting my craft.
