We had the good fortune of connecting with Felipe Machado and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Felipe, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
To create a process of giving a voice to up and coming people who have come into various fields as well as giving flowers to the veterans of those fields who paved a way for those that came behind them .

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What set’s me Apart from others is the fact that I like to give them their flowers and listening to their purpose when they are doing there art. I got to where I am in business is by not compromising my integrity or the quality of my show. It wasn’t easy, but you don’t give in, you don’t give up and you don’t give over to anything or anyone, because your success depends on it. The show is great and gets better every week because we connect our audience to the experience, and make sure as they experience us as we experience them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Virginia Beach, where the sun is shining where you can get a sun tan and the restaurants stack up like Ruth’s Chris, Norfolk Seafood Co & Oyster Bar, Leone’s, Privacy Lounge, and Cantina Laredo etc… Big Vino Comedy, The Dome where there are concerts and show’s.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shawn Montgomery aka ”The Cold War Soldier” for giving me my first stint in Radio, telling me since I was a business person that I would be good in talking to his audience. The next person would be Arsenio Hall with his talk show that made the celebrity guests more friendly and informative. Lenny Green at WBLS was the next person with his voice and he taught me how to be smooth with it and how to captivate them.
