Meet Ezra Boyd | National Account Manager

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ezra Boyd and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ezra, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
To me, work life balance is essential. Everyone that works wants to make sure they are balancing their professional and personal lives.
Throughout my career I have learned to make sure to prioritize my work life balance and make sure I am in roles or organizations that prioritize it as well.
You always want to make sure you can bring your best self to work, and a part of that is making sure to do what you want outside of work.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Currently I am National Account Executive at the Coca-Cola Company. I joined Coca-Cola in May of 2023, before Coca-Cola, I worked at PepsiCo in various roles in the Frito Lay division and most recently was a Customer Care, Key Accounts Manager at Americold Logistics calling on customers in the Protein Division. Being at Coca-Cola is something I would say I am very proud of; it is a company I have always admired and their brands I grew up drinking. Coke is a big part of the community here in Atlanta and that makes me proud to be a part of!
I’d like to think that every move I have made in my career has been prescriptive. For me, every job was essential to learning certain skills to not only prepare me for my current role but for me to continue my career progression.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of my favorite places to visit in the city are:
Ponce City Market/Old Fourth Ward area- When the weather is great, I love riding my bike on the Beltline with my friends. I believe the Beltline gives you a good glimpse of the city, its culture, and great food options. All throughout the trail, there are several restaurants, bars, and parks that you can stop by, hang out, and have a good time. My two favorite hangout spots on the Beltline are New Realm Brewing Co. and Ladybird. For food on the Beltline, you can’t go wrong with: Soul: Food & Culture, Hawkers Asian Street Food, or Nina Rafi Pizza. Krog and Ponce Markets both have good food options inside of their respective locations as well.
Sports Venues- Truist Park is a personal favorite of mine, going to watch a Braves game is always fun, but you can always go before the game and check out the Battery. It has a ton of shops and restaurants that are open, even if the Braves aren’t playing.
Mercedes Benz Stadium is another great venue that is always hosting some kind of event. Whether it is a concert, Falcons game or a college football game; Atlanta is always hosting a great event at Mercedes Benz. I most recently attended the Copa America match of USA vs Panama, and the atmosphere was top tier.
World of Coke/GA Aquarium area- If you are really into touristy things, World of Coke Museum is a great place to visit. I know they offer a lot of package deals where you can see several places with one ticket/package. I’d recommend World of Coke, GA Aquarium, National Center for Civil & Human Rights, and College Football Hall of Fame.
MLK Center/House- Two other great exhibits/landmarks to check out in the city.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to my family, my wife- Kim and my daughter- Mille!
