Meet Evenny | Multi faceted Singer songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Evenny and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Evenny, why did you pursue a creative career?
I’ve always gravitated towards creative outlets and fully expressing myself through an art. Music has been a huge integral part of my life and wanting to create music of my own is a fulfilling journey. From capturing specific moments in my life to conveying shared experiences that others can relate to, has always been a true passion.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey has been a magical one of figuring things out, as I go which makes it that much more special. I have ventured out and gradually created the lane that I’m currently at. It has been a challenging one due to the nature of the industry, the music game is extremely competitive and almost cut throat but I choose to focus on what makes me happy which is the free-flowing moment of creating new music from scratch. I have learned a great deal along the way but undoubtedly one lesson that stands out is truly embracing the journey and letting go of that pressure of what the end result has to be.
I want the world to know that my message focuses on empowering the individual by opting to be the architect of your life. That no matter what life throws your way, to continue pushing forward to bigger horizons. To never lose sight of that inner child we all have and not be scared to dream big!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love checking out museums and art galleries so we would definitely hit a bunch.

I’m also a huge foodie so hitting some steak spots would be on the schedule.

Then we would explore some local boutiques because you can’t miss new trends, I love experimenting with my style so it would be really fun to try out new pieces!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family, for sure have been the backbone of my unwavering determination. They have encouraged me to pursue my dreams without any judgment and have been very supportive every step along the way. They allow me to be completely authentic and follow my creative endeavors. My mom, dad and brother continously show me that I am appreciated, loved and offer their guidance through any adversity.
