We had the good fortune of connecting with Evan Whitfield and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Evan, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Everyday that I am given another chance at 24 hours from my lord and savior Jesus Christ makes me happy. It’s just something about waking up grateful and completing my goals for the day that satisfy my soul. I look at everyday as an opportunity to grow and get at least 1% closer to my aspirations.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The thing that sets me apart from other creators is my daring attitude to step out of the box and be different. The majority of my outfits include a piece that others wouldn’t dare to wear. I am most proud about the clothing brand deals I have been able to get done in such a short period of time. I am in the position I am in today because of me keeping God first, staying consistent in posting and by making sure the content is quality and relatable. I would be lying if I said it was easy because nothing in this life come’s easy but I will say that it can become easy once you get into the habit of being consistent and posting lots of videos, eventually you will gain the experience. The biggest lessons that I have learned is 1. The importance of making connections with other creators 2. Planning out content will take you a long way in making quality content 3. Don’t be afraid to step out the box and try something new, you may like it and it may work for you! One thing everyone should know about me is that outside of social media I am a laid back charismatic guy that has love for everyone.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting Atlanta for a week, I’d make sure it was an unforgettable trip, packed with a mix of iconic attractions, local gems, and diverse experiences. On the first day, after picking them up from Hartsfield-Jackson, we’d start with breakfast at The Flying Biscuit Café, where the grits are legendary. From there, we’d head to Centennial Olympic Park to take in the scenery and enjoy the fountains before exploring the Georgia Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. For dinner, we’d hit up Ponce City Market for tacos at Minero or ramen at Ton Ton, then cap the day with a visit to Skyline Park on the rooftop for carnival games and breathtaking city views.

Day two would be all about arts and culture. We’d spend the morning at the High Museum of Art, marveling at its impressive collection and architecture. For lunch, we’d go to Mary Mac’s Tea Room, a classic spot for Southern comfort food. In the afternoon, we’d wander through Little Five Points, known for its quirky shops, eclectic vibe, and vibrant street art. In the evening, we could either catch live music at Variety Playhouse or enjoy an intimate jazz session at Churchill Grounds.

For a mix of nature and history on day three, we’d start with a walk or bike ride along the Atlanta BeltLine, stopping for coffee and pastries at Bread & Butterfly. Next, we’d visit the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, a moving tribute to one of history’s greatest leaders. Dinner would be at Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q for some of Atlanta’s best barbecue, followed by craft beers at The Porter Beer Bar in Inman Park.

Day four would be an adventure, starting with a morning hike up Stone Mountain for incredible views of the city. Afterward, we’d grab lunch at South City Kitchen for a taste of elevated Southern cuisine before relaxing at Piedmont Park, maybe even taking a paddleboat out on Lake Clara Meer. The evening would include dinner at Ecco Midtown, followed by laughs at The Laughing Skull Lounge comedy club.

On day five, we’d dive into Atlanta’s love for sports and shopping. A tour of Mercedes-Benz Stadium or a live Atlanta United soccer game would kick off the day, followed by shopping at the upscale Buckhead Village District or Lenox Square. For a sweet treat, we’d stop by Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. The evening would be a classy affair, with dinner at Chops Lobster Bar.

Day six would highlight Atlanta’s unique and offbeat side. We’d start with brunch at Krog Street Market, then explore the graffiti-covered Krog Street Tunnel, a hub of creativity and urban art. The afternoon might include a trip to Zoo Atlanta or something fun like axe-throwing at Bad Axe Throwing. To end the day, we’d dive into Atlanta’s nightlife with a bar crawl in Edgewood or dancing at The Sound Table.

For the final day, we’d enjoy a relaxed brunch at Canoe, a serene restaurant overlooking the Chattahoochee River. Before heading to the airport, we’d stop by the Atlanta Botanical Garden for a stroll through their canopy walk.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have made many friends along the way of my young content creation journey but nobody deserves a bigger shout than God for opening dooors for me that I didn’t know were there and giving me the drive to pursue this journey!
