We had the good fortune of connecting with Donald Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Donald, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
The most important lesson that my business has taught me is to be Patient. During the process of being an entrepreneur I’ve learned you that things don’t just happen overnight….I wasn’t taught to be an entrepreneur or anything wrapped around starting a business so this whole process has been one that I’ve taken my time with but also just trying to enjoy everything that comes with it the good and the bad.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Coming from the 9-5 World I never really thought I would jump into the entrepreneurial world so once I did I learned first hand it was NOT EASY LOL. There are many things that I had to make sure was learned/done in regards to business…..As a photographer, I love to take photos but the business side was the part that I needed to do research on ….and ALOT of it! The ways I’ve overcame my struggles was being able to take advice…..Not just business advice but life advice that translates into business and I credit that to my close friends that help keep me grounded when things are down and up.
I want the world to know that 4Ever Focused is more that just a name of a photography company ( 4Ever Focused Photography) but the term “4Ever Focused” can translate to everyday life, business or any goal or anything that you feel that you are passionate about ….”Stay Focused”Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost I’d like to give a shoutout to everyone that has put their trust in my to provide photography service to them during my entrepreneurship journey.
But back to your question, I would definitely like to give credit to my son Jayden as he always been an inspiration for me , my family and closest friends that have supported me and throughout my journey as a photographer.
