We had the good fortune of connecting with Deanna Darcel and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Deanna, what do you attribute your success to?
One word: Momentum. Momentum is the driving force that has enabled me to keep going. I’ve had 1000 leads, and not all of them have happened, but those 1000 leads gave me momentum. Holding on to momentum has helped me to put one foot in front of the next, it has helped me to keep going, it has helped me to keep the faith. Everyday I thank God for the momentum and it has enabled me to not stop. Whenever I’m feeling down, I hold on or think about momentum. It’s like putting gas in a car, the momentum is in me to keep striving to reach my goals.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am all things motivational. My life’s purpose is to empower people to tap into their fullest potential. I am excited to imprint big or small on peoples lives. I love being a contributing factor to their growth. Being a motivational and mindset coach, I really have my clients focus on strengthening their mind to fight through obstacles. I’ve always been the “Go To” person in my group so my friends and random people gravitate to me, and find a sense of comfort with me. I’ve always been the positive person so me expanding my business was pretty easy. My biggest challenge is getting people to commit to my program. People will pay, and not do the work. Getting people to see how incredible they really can be is the biggest struggle, but its my job to guide them to see. The biggest lesson that Ive learned is that you can lead them to the water but you can’t make them drink it. So I am here to guide and push you, I am your accountability coach, but ultimately you have to want it for yourself first.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
