We had the good fortune of connecting with Dasher Exclusive and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dasher, why did you pursue a creative career?
What led To me pursing a creative path is that growing up I always loved music my sister used to sing & make music and it had an influence on me growing up I used to always be an artistic kid I could draw & dance & was energetic my sisters ex made me a song to rap one day when I was in 3rd grade ever since than I’ve been writing music and I started recording my own music in the 4th grade im 24 now growing up I would always love singing even though I started rapping first but I love melodies so I really like making music that is similar to R&B with a mix of rap

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I Am An Artist Who Does More than 5 genres I can sing & rap & I have songs in Spanish also I tap into drill R&B sexyDrill & Jersey Club & Afro & dancehall I’m Proud That As independent Artist I’m Still Able To Reach a lot of fans thru my music as my streams & reach is growing organically everyday I’m where i am today because im ambitious & addicted to music & becoming successful everyday im thinking of new ways to improve its not easy but the love for music keeps me going I’ve learned that in the music business you have to be selfish sometimes because you never know someone’s true intentions I want the world to know that just like I can do it they can do anything they put their mind too Michael Jordan was not born the best basketball player it took some hard work

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So I Have Not Been To Atlanta Yet But I Was In The Atlanta Airport & I do hope to visit before this year ends hopefully I can check out some recording studios out there and collab with Atlanta artists and check out the culture out there And. Definitely Try Some Food Out. there As I Love Food So Much .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout Dc Young Fly Because When He Cosigned My Song She Wana It Had Started Gaining More of attention. She wana has been on a nyc popular blog talk of the town show and a lot of popular nyc pages on Instagram like nydrillpage on YouTube it currently has around 50k views & had a buzz in the city of New York and artists Such As Fat joe & Justin Rarri & Jay Gwuapo Have Showed Love to The Song I Remember The Day Dc Young Fly Wrote Me & Said He Liked My Music Because it was different it was like a melodic drill singing and rapping in one song so later that day he posted my music video on his Instagram & made a video shouting out my song and it had started reaching popularity in nyc platforms since I am currently in nyc.
