We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Peak | Wellness coach & natural product specialist and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle Peak | Wellness coach & natural product specialist, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I’ve always been in a form of wellness throughout my career. I started in the dental field and stayed there for 17 years. I’ve always been drawn to natural resources from the earth, and would always make my family’s needs at home. I’d research different remedies and ingredients to get the benefits needed from certain products. I started in 2014 with juices and smoothies and more recently venturing into products that I’ve created for friends and family that we’ve had success with using. My wellness products include natural body butters, Elderberry, Seamoss, beard oil, hair growth oil, Soy candles, hand sanitizer, brown sugar scrub, and pet shampoo.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I believe my business to be unique in the aspect of wellness. I can offer the necessary wellness tool for families, children, teens, seniors, and busy professionals. My clientele can receive everything from certified coaching experiences and plans of action, to daily supplements, natural products, and even wellness accessories and apparel. I have lived my life on a journey to wellness and have further developed the tools to be successful to help others.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came into town from Chicago, I’d definitely take her to a variety of cool places here in Atlanta! We’d start with coffee at Grant Park coffeehouse, which has the coolest owner, fresh breakfast items and coffee lattes! We’d swing by Ponce City Market for rooftop convo; Pause for natural mani and pedi pampering at Iwi fresh; and end the evening with frozen yogurt at Souper Jenni’s.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Dedicating my shout out to my family. I’ve always gotten the art of moving forward from them. Always wanting to be the best in life and pace the way for them.
