We had the good fortune of connecting with Coach Ty Morrell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Coach Ty, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
Love. Loving what I do. The love I have for helping people progress. The love I have for myself. The love I have for helping people reach their full potential.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart is results. Mentally and physically. I am proud to help people of all age ranges and ethnicities. It took 11 years to get to where i am as a coach but I have been involved in boxing since 1997. If it’s easy then I don’t want it and that’s in many aspects of life. The way I overcome challenges is realizing that it is all a test from God. So I follow what God wants. I have learned that even in your darkest times to still follow the light. I want the world to understand the importance of self value and love.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love nature. Hikes, kayaking, animals and food. From local barbecue spots to a good food truck. Also the Atlanta area has so many beautiful outdoor parks.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Mario West and The Mario West Foundation.
Ernestine Morrison of Greenlit ATL
Shante Robinson of IWI Fresh
