We had the good fortune of connecting with Coach Little and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Coach, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to have a place in the cheer, tumbling, and athlete fitness road dedicated to training athletes as a whole. I’ve seen so many programs take a shortcut to athlete growth and I wanted to provide a place where that wasn’t done!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a Georgia native who has recently moved back and is looking to build up athletes in their sport and as people. I’ve been a cheer and tumbling coach for around 10 years. My passion started when I was in grade school and saw Top Gun Allstars competing at Worlds on ESPN2.

I then went on to compete the sport at Top Gun Allstars at an international and national level, winning multiple championships including Summit. After my tenure as an athlete, I went on to help and change the technique to a higher standard all around by being a program director and tumbling/stunting technique director for different programs. I also continue to do coaches clinics to help revolutionize the sport and the way technique is taught to better suit all athletes at all ages. My goal is to bring the sport of cheer and tumbling to as many as possible in an engaging and fun way with a focus on proper technique, athlete progression, and individualized coaching.

My program is a christ-led program that has a focus on building athletes up physically, emotionally, and spiritual growth through athletics.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As hilarious as this sounds I don’t go out much between work and my family.

I do LOVE Mr. Tinos Ice Cream And Tacos In Woodstock, GA. Everyone should take a trip there at least once.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to shoutout my wife for being supportive through my journey and being the anchor at home while I put together this program. Also a shoutout to the members of my Elite Cheer Training duo program which got this idea of the ground.
