We had the good fortune of connecting with Ca$hAmillion Tha Don and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ca$hAmillion Tha Don, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
I have learned the hard way that you cannot expect “ you “ outta somebody else. What you may do, another person may not, That and the other most important lesson I have learned is that your life beyond music has to have a balance, and finding it is up to me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I want to share my craft and my stories with the world, to connect with people and show them I am different from the rest, from my melodic flows, to that hard deep rap, that everyday I’m working on my word play, showing my 3 little girls & my significant other that you can have whatever you want in life if you chase after it with everything you have!! Giving it your all, touching lives by making them understand that I’ve had problems jus like anyone else, I want to make it and share some of that wealth with the ones who truly need it in the community. My brand I’m working on, is in the works. I’m just currently working out the legal and business parts/aspects. Making sure everything is solidified!! It has not been easy to get where I have gotten today, I have had sleepless nights, going through struggle after struggle, finding the time for it all while maintaining everything else going on in my life. Having the funds and connections, getting myself out there and showing the world… THIS is what I want to do with my life!!! I’m damaged and come with baggage and have faults just like anybody else in the world, I am no better than anyone else. I see us as equals all chasing after the same thing. I have a saying “ it’s ALL LOVE on my side “ and I stick by that!!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Where I’m from there isn’t necessarily very many interesting/exciting places to go to eat or anything, so we would go a town over to Wichita, KS. Eat downtown, there is multiple places to eat like Two Brothers BBQ, Church’s Chicken. Multiple bars and venues to go to, anywhere from Rock Island Live to Heroes and more. Downtown is the best place to have a good time. East Town Mall is where to get that drip from around here, you can find mostly anything you are looking for. There are hole in tha walls that have some of the best authentic food you can go to as well!! Of course there are exciting producers and DJs that are super dope like DJ3, Corey Young, and multiple other DJs that are part of then MidWestDJCoalition.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Man, there is a big list, from where I’ve came from when I started doing this music thang, to now. I have to give a big shoutouts to DJ B.Ray, Fee ( SolidRotationSounds)

Luke4PresBeats who you can find on @beatstars

And my loved ones and the ones I’ve done tracks with, who have had my back and supported me no matter what. I’m thankful for everything that has been placed in front of me and I plan to seize every opportunity that is put in front of me!!
