We had the good fortune of connecting with Bria Mulrain and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bria, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always had a love for the beauty industry. I danced competitively for 12 years an makeup was always apart of the process before performing. I loved every minute of getting glammed up. Eventually as I got older I really got into it an have been known for always having a flawless beat. After graduating college in 2018 having multiple streams of income was important to me. With that being said I decided to invest in myself an take a lash course to be come a certified lash technician an now here I am a new business an suite owner.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being a certified lash technician in Atlanta is huge. But what makes me stick out from others is how natural I achieve my sets. When I first started lashes it was not easy at all very tedious an time consuming. But over the years I challenged myself to work on my timing an technique. Along the way I’ve learned to not give up if you a really passionate about something an to understand you will have your off days an that’s ok. I want the world to know that this is just the beginning for my brand I can’t wait to see it blossom.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would have to say Tastee Spoon in the Dunwoody area. It is a Caribbean restaurant that never disappoints me. Every time I feel like it gets better an better my friends are foodies like me so I know what they like. I always understand the assignment when it comes to going to out to eat, drink an most importantly have fun.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Major shout to big cousin for pushing me with my business @keyajames. Of course I have to shout out Portia my boss lash instructor/mentor. Shout to my family an friends for the support but most importantly my clients y’all keep me going.
