We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Swint and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always wanted to find a way to tie in my passion for learning with entrepreneurship. So originally I started my company Renaissance Enterprises with the intent of helping people via technology with future plans to expand into other enterprises to further help my community.
I’m also a National Physique Committee bodybuilder, model, and personal trainer. The plan there is to use my passion of fitness as a way that I can help others with their fitness journey.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’d like to think that I got to where I am today by staying inquisitive. By doing such, it has allowed me to learn from some extraordinary individuals and sparked a desire to dig deeper that’s enabled me to get to where I am today.
It’s never easy to create something on your own but I think it’s crucial to have confidence in yourself and not get discouraged by the many failures that you’ll have along the way. I’ve learned to embrace those failures and use them as lessons to do better in the future. I want the world to know that we all start from somewhere and that there’s tons of people out here willing to help you if you’re willing to learn. The purpose of my brand is to inspire people to strive for better for themselves and to help others.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There’s tons to do around the Interlock. Depending on if you want to just enjoy a night out for stone drinks in a rooftop or want to get a little active at Puttshack or Sandbox. That’s a pretty fun section of Atlanta. There’s too many places to eat in Atlanta to count; but if you’re already at the interlock I’d check out either Lock and Key or LOA.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to first and foremost thank God for blessing me with such an amazing village. To my parents, brother, family, friends & numerous mentors thank you for the support, inspiration, and love.
